HIPSTORY collaborated with the Norwegian Prime Minister’s campaign for her 2021 reelection bid.
Since our first collaboration with Norway PM Erna Solberg’s campaign four years ago, Solberg’s HIPSTORY portrait has been continually used by her team. Their campaign analysis diligently tracked its feedback, how it was received by voters, and its use on social media. And they wanted more.
As Solberg hit the 2021 reelection trail, the time came to update her portrait. We collaborated with her campaign on a new illustration that emphasizes Solberg’s status as a contemporary female world leader and speaks to her successful COVID response. Similar to our previous collaboration, we aimed to connect with youth voters, balancing between the expectations of the campaign and our creative vision.
For us at HIPSTORY, we always knew that our images were able to deeply impact people. But we didn’t realize their global reach until the Solberg campaign. These kinds of collaborations with influential contemporary leaders from across the globe enthuse us each time anew, providing our brand with the greatest validation: our portraits aren’t just for walls. They’re for action.
